The simulator ride transports visitors, wearing 3-D glasses, into the Despicable Me world of supervillain Felonius Gru to be transformed into Minions and become part of the story line - all while sitting in a motion-based simulator synchronized with every twist and turn on the screen.
The Minions' film spinoff is slated for 2015, and Despicable Me 3 is due in theaters June 30, 2017. In the next phase of their dastardly plan, the Twinkie-esque yellow creatures, breakout stars in the Despicable Me franchise, will walk the yellow carpet at Universal Studios Hollywood on Friday.
